2006 Reserve Grand Champion Bull - NAILE
We are excited to introduce "Creek" as the newest addition to our herd bull lineup. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to purchase him from Cottonwood Springs in the fall of 2008 and expect GREAT things from him in the years to come.
Phenotypically, "Creek" offers everything a breeder would want in a breeding bull. He is powerfully constructed individual with a wide base and head-turning shape through his quarter. From the side you appreciate his style, length of body and levelness of hip. One of his greatest attributes is his correctness of structure, which allows him to move freely and easily. This outstanding combination of traits allowed him to be named Reserve Grand Champion at Louisville in 2006.
On paper he is equally impressive with as he is a low birth weight sire that ranks in the top 5% of the breed for maternal calving ease. He also ranks in the top 20% for weaning weight, yearling weight and scrotal circumference. Take a look at his pedigree and you will certainly not be dissapointed. His sire, 122L, is one of the most influential sires of the breed and continues to sire champions across the nation. His dam is the great 8063 cow from Rock Creek that most recently produced BR DM CSF Wallace 7055 ET, Reserve Grand at the 2008 National Western. Full brothers to "Creek" recently sold at Star Lake's 2008 fall sale for $10,000, $20,000 and $30,000.
